Below is a copy of an email which will be sent to secondary students in the near future. There is potential for younger students to be involved in this survey at a later date.

The Student Mindset Index has been developed by OSG to help track growth and assist teachers in their learning conversations with students. Students will receive a link with a 29-question survey.

This data will be shared with teachers to assist Learning Conversations with students. 

“Learning to learn” is our school motto. You cannot truly learn to learn without striving to become a self-directed learner.

Part of the journey towards becoming a more self-directed learner is getting to know yourself as a learner. To help you do this, OneSchool Global has developed a survey called the Student Mindset Index. It is a survey that asks you to respond to a series of statements by selecting how well the statements relate to you as a learner. There are no right or wrong answers. You will not receive a grade, percentage or rank. Instead, you will receive a score and some advice based on your survey results on how you might be able to become a more self-directed learner. Just as importantly, your teachers will receive these results and think about how they can help you in your self-directed learning journey.

You will soon be receiving a personalised survey link from our global survey platform Qualtrics. Every single secondary student at OSG will be participating in this survey so please complete as soon as possible.
