YEAR 9 and 10 SOUTH PORT CHALMERS TRIP

On Tuesday 1^st December, the South Year 9 and 10’s went to Dunedin for a day excursion. We started our day with the Amazing Race round at Back Beach in Port Chalmers, this involved several challenges including eating Nutri-grain, walking to the lookout over Port Chalmers, exploring the Museum and we finished up by carrying one of our team members to Boiler Point.  Here we had a fabulous lunch and did some fishing with an improvised fishing rod.  A huge thank you to Rachael Stanners for organising this fun event and to the parents for driving, supervising, and preparing the lunch.  

Our day finished by taking a trip on the Monarch around Port Chalmers the weather was fabulous and we enjoyed taking in all the sights.  A big thanks to Mr Taylor for his organisation of this.
