With the start of a new school year upon us, there will be new families joining our volunteer pool.  It is a legal requirement that all volunteers go through the Induction process and complete the Police Vetting form (valid for 3 years). 

A volunteer at OSG includes (but is not limited to):

• Van driver
• Swimming helper (Yr 3-6)
• Canteen
• Parent/community helper on site or supervising/attending a school trip
• Anyone who comes onto the school grounds in a volunteer capacity

New Volunteer Inductions

If you haven’t completed this yet, but do volunteer or intend to volunteer in 2022 please complete the following steps:

1. Read the below Volunteer Vetting Policy
2. Police_Vetting_Policy.pdf
3. Complete the Volunteer Agreement Form - Click here
4. Complete the New Zealand Police Vetting Form.

To complete the form, please follow these steps:

Page 1 - Your name in the second box, the rest is for us to complete. 

Page 2 - Your personal details. (If your ID is under a different name/your maiden name to who you are now, a copy of your marriage certificate is also neccessary please.)

Page 3 - Read and sign at the bottom. 

Also required is a copy of both primary and secondary ID - your driver’s license and passport or birth certificate. In addition, if you have changed your name, a copy of your marriage certificate is also neccessary please.
