Welcome to Mrs Paterson, Mrs Hutton, Mrs Snell and Mrs Knapp

Mrs Paterson - Primary Release Teacher, Gore Campus
Hello, my name is Nequilla Paterson. I live in Gore with my husband James and our two daughters Alba and Florence. I feel very privileged to be joining the OSG team, and am excited for a fantastic 2023 and beyond in the new Gore campus. I am a passionate and caring educator who has high expectations for all students and I look forward to supporting your children to reach their full academic potential.

Mrs Hutton - Year 3-6 Teacher, Gore Campus

My name is Eleanor Hutton and I am very excited to be joining the OneSchool Global team at the new Gore Campus. I was born and lived in Hastings for all of my schooling years, before moving to Hamilton for University. In 2021, I graduated with a Bachelor of Teaching (Primary) at the University of Waikato. Since then, I have been working with early learners at Hope Preschool in Mataura. I am passionate about people and love building positive relationships with others. I am looking forward to meeting each child and their family so that I can best support the learning, growth and development of all my learners!

I have been living in Southland for almost a year now and I am loving this new change of pace compared to my previous city life. My husband Jared is a sheep farmer and together we live on his family farm just south of Wyndham town. We’ve got a pet dog named Monty who we got as a wee pup and heaps of working dogs who we adore! Aside from enjoying my new farmer’s wife lifestyle, I love to read a good book, develop our home and property, play hostess when friends and family visit and cook delicious dinners for others to enjoy!

The year 2023 can’t come soon enough for me. I am so thankful to be joining this team am I am beyond excited to meet you all and to continue my own teaching and learning journey alongside each of you!

Mrs Snell - Teacher Aide, Timaru Campus
Hi, I am Holly Snell the new Teacher Aide at the Timaru Campus. I was born and raised in Timaru and have spent time living in Christchurch, then in Australia in Broome, remote Western Australia and Bundaberg, Queensland with my husband and 3 children. In Broome I worked and studied as a Teacher Aide, then in Bundaberg I ran a home-based early childhood business. Since returning to Timaru in late 2019 I have returned to being a teacher aide to help school age students reach their full potential. I am excited to join the Timaru Campus!

Mrs Knapp - Year 7-8 Teacher, Gore Campus

Hi.  My name is Belinda Knapp.  My husband Clayton and I live just outside Edendale.  Clayton spends his time farming on our family farm at Mokoreta.  We have 3 children, Gabby (21) who is graduating from University at the end of the year, Keegan (19) who is currently studying at Otago University and Arden (17) who has just completed year 12 at Menzies College.  In my spare time I enjoy helping out on the farm and during the winter I am involved with the local netball competition umpiring.

I have just completed my Teacher Training and will graduate in December and am really excited to join the team at OneSchool Global.  Prior to my training I was a teacher aide and parent help which ignited my love of teaching.  I am looking forward to meeting everyone and beginning my teaching career at OneSchool Global.
