Mrs Gilbert - Campus Principal, Gore Campus

My name is Sarah Gilbert and my family and I moved from Dunedin to Gore in early 2022.  I have been teaching for 17 years including one year at East Gore School as Deputy Principal where I spent a term as Acting Principal. I was at  Kaikorai Primary School for 8 year as Assistant Principal. During my time there I completed a lot of professional learning around modern and innovative learning environments, I spent a lot of time developing teachers and how we would teach in preparation for our move into brand new school buildings. I know find myself working in a brand new school and am very proud to be working with such a dedicated staff, students and community.

Mrs Bates - Year 3-6 Release Teacher, Timaru Campus

Mrs. Erin Bates has joined the Timaru PLC. Mrs. Bates has been working as an educator in Timaru for 9 years and has a passion for sports; she brings a wealth of knowledge concerning health and fitness. Erin is a mum of two children, William who is seven and Lucy who is two. She is very excited to join our PLC team.

Mrs McVicar - Primary Student Support Assistant, Gore Campus

Hi I’m Sara McVicar, I am the new Student Support Assistant at the Gore Campus. I am working in both the Primary Learning Centre and the Year 7/8 class. I live in Gore with my husband and our thirteen-year-old daughter. Previously I worked in Early Childhood Education and I have a Bachelor in Teaching (ECE). I am enjoying getting to know all of the students and I look forward to meeting you all.
