From the CA Team
Hello All
Welcome to the newsletter for Week 6 of the 2023 School Year. We are pleased to report that things are well on track for this to be the best year ever for OneSchool South Campus; with the two newly built schools, along with the best ever team of teachers and supporting personnel, the ultimate learning environment for the students has been created.
Grandparents Day is 6th of March we would welcome and encourage all grandparents to support this day, it means a lot for the students to have an interest taken in what they do. For those who haven’t got a grandchild at OneSchool, but feel you could/should have (and qualify age wise) please do feel free to join in and observe the excellent work of the students and teachers at the Timaru, Dunedin and Gore Campuses.
Another reminder that student phones and smartwatches are not allowed on campus or on the school buses; this directive has come from the Global OneSchool Board and is for the moral protection of all students. The policy has been well circulated and is in the students signed ICT agreement:
- For parents: We appreciate and need your help, please deliver your student to the school/school bus without their phone. A final pat down at point of delivery may be required in some situations
- For bus drivers: if you see a student with a phone, please mention this on your end-of-trip report so that required action (2 week phone confiscation ) can be arranged
Thank you for your ongoing support.
Regards,
Isaac Bishop, on behalf of the CA Team
