Good afternoon South Campus,

Term Two has ended on high note today, thank you to all who came and supported the students with Book Character and International Day, great to see such creativity and talent on display.

It has been a brilliant term across all three South Campus sites, a personal highlight was last week when a ‘flood’ of Excellence and Merit credits was received back, both Gore and Timaru sites achieved their goal of 100+ credits. Well done to the students and teachers for this achievement, and as ‘success breeds success’ and ‘winners win’, this is an excellent springboard to start Term 3 from.

Students will note that Cross Country is coming up later in August, the next two weeks is a great opportunity to start training.

A reminder regarding the ‘Give some Kudos’ link in this newsletter, this is an excellent way to show appreciation; gratitude is the best attitude, and the hours/dedication put in by OSG staff and volunteers to make the school a success is very admirable.

We wish the students all the best for the holidays, make the most of them, and ensure you come back invigorated for Term 3 and beyond!
