We are on the countdown to the end of the year now with our senior’s on study leave and only a month to go to Prize Giving. With that in mind we would encourage all parents, grandparents & supporters of the school to come to this final event of the year.  This is to be held at the Timaru new school on Thursday 6th December and is also an excellent opportunity for those of us in the south to see for ourselves a new modern school.  Please mark this date in your calendar.

Last week the CA South Team join CA’s from throughout the country at the Manawatu Campus to discuss ideas, and plan towards a brilliant 2019.  This was an inspirational day that included the OneSchool Global brand launch, global updates, recent advice and strategy workshops.  One piece of top advice we received that I thought would be timely for this time of the year was on Student Motivation and how we want all our students to be able to say “I’m a finisher”  We would urge all students to complete the year with a strong finish, and to our senior’s starting their exams next week, stay focused and give it your all, remembering this is your final chance to exceed your goals.   All the best.
