Welcome to Ms Ambler and Mrs Kay

Hi all! I’m Ms Vikkie Ambler and have spent most of my career working as a Youth Worker with at risk youth and/or youth with Mental Health and/or intellectual disabilities.
I have 3 of my own children aged 13, 8, and 6. We have 2 Golden Labs and love getting out and about! We often go camping, mountain biking, kayaking and enjoy hiking too.
I’ve really enjoyed my time at One School Global so far and look forward to getting to know everyone else a little more throughout the rest of the year.

Greetings All,
I have had a warm welcome this week to OneSchool Global (Timaru Campus) and am looking forward to meeting the students, staff and the wider community over the next few weeks.
I am an experienced Technology educator with a background in Food Science and Human Nutrition (BSc. University of Otago). I have taught for over 20 years in a variety of schools, at a variety of age-levels, at a variety of decile ratings, both here and the UK. My teaching experiences cover most of the specialist technological areas in the NZC. I have an interest in the possibilities that the Technology curriculum area could contribute to integrated programmes and the STEM/STEAM concept.
