I am married to Judith, and we have 5 children, Clare, Bridget, Brendan, Gerard and Maria. Our eldest three live in Invercargill and Dunedin, so we are delighted to be nearer to them than the West Coast has allowed. For the last two years I have been Principal at John Paul II High school in Greymouth. Prior to that I taught in Hawkes Bay for 16 years, followed by 6 years in Wellington as an Educational Consultant, and in that time, I also gained my Masters in Educational Leadership. My main teaching areas are Music and Social Studies. Outside the classroom I have had many opportunities directing choirs, orchestras, Jazz and Concert Bands. I am an avid sports follower and have enjoyed coaching cricket and football teams over the years.
I am very much looking forward to meeting all our new students and to assisting them in fulfilling their true potential as OneSchool Global learners.

Face Coverings on School Transport

Further to the COVID update, we wish to reiterate the government requirement for Year 9 -13 students to wear face coverings on school transport at all alert levels. Drivers are also requested to wear a face covering throughout the trip to assist with the protection of your student/s.
We appreciate your support in ensuring this requirement is adhered to.
Thank you.
