Lastly, a huge thank you to the van drivers for getting the students to school safely. A reminder to fill out the Van Report . We are currently sitting at 60.8% for the South Campus.

We enjoyed watching the Year 7-8's make survival huts and do other fun survival challenges on Thursday 18th November. Before they began making their huts they had to plan and design what they were going to look like. Once they had drawn their designs up, they went to look for a good location to put their hut. To make their huts they got given twine, a survival blanket and any other natural resources that they had around them. Then with the resources they had gathered they began to construct their huts. They left their huts up overnight to see if they could stand against the wind. They found the next morning that they were still good and sturdy and had survived the night.
Here are some pictures of their huts.

This week some Year 10, 11 and 12 students have been preparing to become candidates for the 2022 Leadership Team. This included an interview with Mr Morrison, Mr Sullivan, and Head CA Brad Kelly. Also, students willing to go on the Leadership Team next year, presented why they would be good leaders in a short assembly on Tuesday morning, it was terrific. This tested students’ abilities to speak in front of large audiences which was a great opportunity for them to step outside their comfort zone. This included how they would be able to uphold the OneSchool values and lead by example to make our school environment the best it can be.
