Under the Health and Safety Act, a Volunteer is also a ‘worker’ for the School. This means that the School must provide Volunteers with the same health and safety protection as it does to its paid workers. Therefore, to comply with legislation, Volunteers are required to be inducted.
Volunteers play a vital role for OneSchool Global Ltd across New Zealand and make significant contributions by carrying out unpaid work every day, no matter in what capacity they are engaged to Volunteer.
This Induction Program is compulsory for campus Compliance Audits, as it verifies that all volunteers have been inducted in Health and Safety. Please ensure that all necessary forms and documentation have been handed to your local Campus Office Administrator by Tuesday 3rd December.
If you have any questions, please contact your local Campus Office Administrator.
Thank you for your ongoing support.
