We would like to welcome the newest member of the Invercargill One School Global Team: Miss Alcock.
We are super lucky to have her in the Year 3-6 class 3 days a week.
Miss Alcock has been a Teacher Aide before and brings a great attitude and bubbly personality to our classroom.
We can’t wait to see what 2020 brings for us here in Invercargill.
Year 7/8's Visit to the Otago Museum...
On Wednesday 12th the Year 7/8’s from across South Campus came together in Dunedin. We spent our day at the Otago Museum learning about all sorts of different arthropods (bugs). We learnt about the four different groups of arthropods: insects, arachnids, crustaceans, and myriapods. We also got to enter the ‘tropical rainforest’ with the butterflies. This was a great introduction to our inquiry topic, and we look forward to learning more about all sorts of arthropods and the impacts they may have on the world. Thanks to all the museum staff and van drivers, we really appreciate it.
"This year, be structured enough for success and achievement and flexible enough for creativity and fun."
