Hello Team South,
9,495 students, 134 campuses, 20 countries….
The recent launch of the new OneSchool Global brand at Manawatu Campus was truly inspiring, and these impressive numbers highlight the unique character of our global school. The Global Leadership team presented the vision of OneSchool as “A global education ecosystem that develops life-ready students who learn how to learn” and they outlined the strategic plan that makes this vision a reality. As a new member of the CA Team, it has been really inspiring to learn more about this organisation that achieves amazing results by bringing together our professional staff, our students, and our community.
With only a few more weeks until the end of the year, we want to encourage everyone to keep focused on the finish line; many races have been won or lost on the home straight! All the best to our senior students for the exams, and we look forward to seeing everyone at Graduation on 6th December to celebrate the achievements of 2018.
Kind Regards,
Jay McGaveston, on behalf of the CA Team
Toby Irvine - Toby is an extremely helpful student. He is always quick to offer help when needed and uses his excellent problem solving skills to sort out tricky problems, especially helping the teacher with technology! Toby is a natural leader and leads by example, as well as reminding others to do the right thing. Thank you for all your help and support Toby. Keep it up.
Jorja Malcolm - Jorja is very diligent and a positive member of the team in the Timaru Site. She always tries her best at every event, whether it be physically or academically. Staying focused is one of her strong attributes, and she can always be found working diligently throughout the day. Thanks Jorja, keep up the good work!
From the Year 7 - 8 Students at the Timaru Site...
On Monday we said a sad farewell to Mrs McCone. It has been great having her teach us while Mrs Lovely was away and we will miss her. We have been busy showing Mrs Lovely some of the great work we have done and explaining how things run at our new school.
This week we have also been busy with testing, as well as working on our Inquiry topic “Across the Ocean- OneSchool Global”. We are hoping to hear back from some of the OneSchool students overseas. We will keep you posted!

Return of Devices, Textbooks and Library Books...
Please ensure that all devices (and cords) textbooks and library books are returned to your site Office Administrator prior to Graduation on Thursday 6th December (Dunedin/Invercargill students last day to return is Tuesday 4th December).
Seniors – As soon as your exams are over and you no longer require these items for study purposes, please arrange for them to be returned to your school office.
Many thanks.
“Time is free, but it’s priceless. You can’t own it, but you can use it. You can’t keep it, but you can spend it. Once you’ve lost it you can never get it back.”
